Recent field activity

The Recent Activity tab provides a compact commissioning and troubleshooting view of physical-access and LPR events for the selected site. It is not a complete audit report.

The table shows time, source, primary value, context, result, and an LPR plate thumbnail when images are available. Times are converted to the selected site's configured time zone.

Filter activity

Select Filters and choose any combination of:

  • Source — all available sources, Access Control, or LPR;
  • Result — all, granted, denied, watchlist, or other;
  • Controller — limits physical-access events to one controller;
  • Reader — limits physical-access events to a reader and its resolved controller; and
  • Search — matches access credentials, locations, or associations, and LPR plates, cameras, or posts.

Selecting a controller narrows the available reader choices. Controller and reader filters apply only to physical-access data, so LPR results are omitted while either is selected. Watchlist has no physical-access equivalent and therefore returns only matching LPR activity.

Select Apply to reload the results or Reset to clear all filters and immediately reload. The filter button indicates when filters are active.

Understand the result limit

TEKControl retrieves up to 25 matching physical-access events and up to 25 matching LPR events, merges them by event time, and displays the newest 40. Older matching events are intentionally not shown here.

Use Access Control Transactions, LPR Transactions, or Access Events when you need a longer time range, exports, or investigation-grade filtering.

Review an LPR image

Select a plate thumbnail to open the images recorded for that LPR transaction. A missing thumbnail can mean no image was stored, the image could not be retrieved, or the event is not an LPR event. It does not by itself prove the camera failed.

Note

Recent Activity validates that TEKControl received an event. It does not certify wiring, door movement, plate-read accuracy, credential correctness, or controller state. Compare the event with the physical result and health information.
