Client password policy

The Password Policy tab controls the policy stored at the client scope. Configure:

  • required numeric minimum length;
  • numeric days valid;
  • restricted dictionary words;
  • at least one digit;
  • at least one lowercase letter;
  • at least one uppercase letter;
  • at least one special character; and
  • no whitespace.

New clients default to the platform minimum length and validity period, require digit, lowercase, uppercase, and no whitespace, and do not require a special character. Existing clients without a saved policy use the same displayed defaults.

Select Save Client to persist the password policy. The client name, minimum length, and days-valid values are validated even when you opened the editor on another main-save tab, so invalid password fields can prevent a logo or General save.

Coordinate changes with password resets, account invitations, kiosks, integrations, and support. Test the policy with a non-production user before requiring it broadly.
