AllBox integrations and media¶
Integrations¶
The Integrations tab currently contains the FourKites kiosk connection used by the AllBox Azure Web PubSub integration.

The form does not require the connection fields when Enabled is selected and does not test the endpoint or key. Confirm the production environment, kiosk ID, and recommended reconnect values with the integration owner, then monitor a disconnect/reconnect test.
Warning
Do not paste function keys into tickets, chat, screenshots, or documentation. Rotate an exposed key and update every endpoint that uses it.
Media¶
Image menu¶
Upload the image used for the Static Image menu action, set its menu label, and choose its menu order. Selecting a file updates the preview but does not publish it until the entire AllBox record is saved.
Use an approved, high-contrast image without small embedded text. After saving, reopen the record or test the device to confirm the uploaded asset is reachable and scales correctly.
Browser options¶
Web browser creates a menu action with a label, order, and URL. Startup fullscreen URL opens a configured page at startup when enabled. URLs are not format-, reachability-, or trust-validated by the editor.
Use HTTPS, confirm the page supports the kiosk screen and input method, and avoid pages that expose unrestricted navigation or collect credentials outside approved controls. A failing startup page can dominate the device experience, so test offline and recovery behavior.
Barcode scan media¶
The image and video URLs support the barcode or pass-scanning experience. Use assets that match the installed scanner and current pass format. Test them from the device network; a URL that works on an administrator's computer may still be unreachable from the kiosk.
Welcome image¶
From the AllBox inventory row menu, select Add/Edit Welcome Image. This is separate from the Static Image menu asset.
- Select an image and review the live preview.
- Select Save to publish it to this AllBox configuration.
- Reopen the action and verify the stored image.
Selecting a file only changes the preview until Save. Selecting Save without a newly selected file makes no change. Delete is available when a welcome image exists and clears it immediately without a confirmation prompt; there is no undo in the dialog.
Both save and delete are audited. Use production-approved artwork and retain the source asset elsewhere if it may need to be restored.
