AllBoxes

The AllBoxes tab appears when the selected site has at least one AllBox record. Each row shows the AllBox name, device ID, current central-health status, last-seen value, post, linked reader, linked camera, and an action menu.

Check health

Open the row menu and select Health to review the matched central health record. The action is unavailable when the AllBox has not yet matched a health target.

Treat Last Seen as the most recent health report known to TEKControl, not proof that every connected peripheral is working. If the status is unexpected, refresh the console and compare the device ID, network state, and physical unit.

Send a linked-reader command

Reader Command appears only when the AllBox has a linked reader. It is enabled when:

  • you can operate hardware;
  • the selected site has Physical Access Control enabled;
  • the reader resolves to a controller; and
  • the controller has a supported integration type.

The grid's Remote Open value is useful configuration context, but the console's command-button check does not use that flag as a permission control. Follow the site's approved access procedure regardless of the displayed value.

The exact command screen depends on the controller type. Azure opens reader access control, where you select mapped strikes and a strike duration. Other supported integrations ask you to confirm a live pulse.

See Readers and live control before using the command.

Open AllBox settings

Settings is shown only to technicians with configuration authority and Global Client Admin, Administrator, or Super Administrator access. It opens the complete existing AllBox record, including its post, reader, camera, device identifier, directory and visitor options, branding, and enabled device features.

Confirm that the open record belongs to the selected site before saving. Changing a reader, camera, post, or device identifier can disconnect the logical record from the installed unit or route activity incorrectly.

Warning

Do not create an apparent replacement by changing the device identifier on an existing production AllBox unless the approved deployment procedure specifically calls for it. Record the original value and verify the replacement unit after saving.
