User bulk actions¶
Select at least two grid users to enable Bulk Actions. A select-all choice can include every row matching the current filters, including unloaded pages, so confirm the filters and effective count before continuing.
Users you cannot manage, including your own account and accounts at or above your effective role level, prevent role and disable operations from starting.
Update roles¶
Choose Update Roles, select an action, and choose at least one role:
- Replace replaces each user's assignable roles with the selected set.
- Add adds the selected roles to each user's assignable roles.
- Remove removes the selected roles from each user's assignable roles.
Roles outside your authority are preserved. TEKControl also applies its role hierarchy, which can remove redundant subordinate roles. Review the confirmation carefully; the operation updates each eligible user and records role-association audit entries.
Warning
Replace is broad and can remove operational access that is not selected. It does not mean “add these roles.” Prefer Add or Remove when that expresses the intended change.
Send email¶
Choose Send Email to compose a required subject and rich-text body. The dialog counts unique valid recipient email addresses and reports how many selected users will be skipped because their email is missing or invalid.
Review the recipient counts and message in the confirmation, then select Send. A successful result means the message was queued for the listed addresses; it does not prove delivery or reading.
Bulk email is an external communication. Do not include passwords, reset links, confidential exports, or information recipients should not share. Correct user email records before retrying a skipped recipient.
Disable selected users¶
Choose Disable to open the lifecycle dialog for the selection. That dialog offers temporary deactivation and permanent deletion, so read the final action and confirmation carefully. See Lifecycle and audit.
