Custom Forms¶
Custom Forms let your organization collect site-specific information without a dedicated TEKControl module. Each Custom Forms menu entry opens one configured form and its saved records, so field names, sections, required values, filters, and grid columns vary by form.
Open the correct form¶
Choose the required form from the portal's Custom Forms menu. The page title identifies the active definition. If your organization has several custom forms, each opens its own record list; records and fields are not shared automatically between definitions.
Select the site when more than one is available. Site choice controls the records shown and can also control which fields appear inside the form.
Find existing records¶
The grid shows the creator and any form fields configured for the summary. Double-click a row or use its three-dot menu and select Edit to review the full record.
Use a configured field filter and the date range to narrow the grid. Select Export after applying the required scope. See Find and export records.
Create or update a record¶
Authorized users can select Add New after choosing a site. Complete every required field in each visible section and select Save. Users with view-only access can inspect records but cannot save changes.
See Complete a custom form for supported field types, section layouts, ID scanning, signatures, and validation.
Note
Custom Forms are configuration-driven. If a field, section, filter, or summary column is missing, it may not be enabled for this form or selected site. Contact an administrator rather than entering the information into an unrelated field.
