Revenue Management¶
Revenue Management is the site-level ledger of revenue transactions created directly or by other TEKControl modules. Depending on your role and the site's configuration, you can review transactions, create manual entries, take card payments, send recipient invoices, inspect related transactions, and process refunds.
Understand access¶
The page requires Revenue module access and shows only accessible sites with that module enabled. End users can review transactions; creating or saving records requires a higher operational role. Refunds have separate Payment Processing and role requirements.
If only one site is available, it is selected automatically and the site filter is hidden. Corporate users can see accessible Revenue-enabled sites for their assigned clients; other users see their directly assigned sites.
Understand the grid¶
Each row shows:
- description;
- transaction date and time in the transaction site's time zone;
- amount in US currency;
- site-configured revenue type;
- source module;
- creator.
Transactions initially sort by the newest transaction date. Double-click a row or choose Edit to open its details. Save controls remain unavailable when your role is view-only.
The three-dot menu can also show:
- Associated Transactions when the record has child transactions;
- Refund when the transaction is eligible and you have Payment Processing Administrator access.

Understand payments¶
Revenue records and card payments are related but not identical. A record may be saved without an online payment when Payment Processing is unavailable, or it may open a card-payment window or send a recipient invoice according to its configuration.

Important
Verify the selected site, amount, revenue type, transaction time, and payer workflow before saving. Financial corrections and refunds are audited and may affect external payment processing.
