Find and filter logistics records

The logistics grid and its available search fields adapt to the selected site's configuration.

Search by a record value

Choose a Filter By value, enter the search text, and press Enter. Common options include:

  • driver name or driver's license;
  • tractor, trailer, truck-license, or trailer-license number;
  • carrier, company, destination, cargo, insurance, or credential;
  • seal, PO number, yard label, confirmation number, or pass number;
  • site-defined custom fields that are enabled for the summary.

Partial values are supported for most text searches. When a supported driver's-license scanner sends encoded data, TEKControl extracts the license number. A scanned logistics pass searches by its numeric pass number.

Set the date range

The page opens with a site-configured recent range. When no custom site setting exists, the range begins two days ago and ends tomorrow. The range normally applies to the scheduled date used by the grid.

Use the shared date selector to choose another period, then refresh. Dates and displayed times follow the site's configuration.

Use additional filters

Open the additional-filter panel to select:

  • Site;
  • Post — limits the grid and is separate from your working post;
  • Show All, Non Pre-Registration, or Pre-Registration;
  • a configured preregistration workflow status.

Select Apply to refresh the grid. Reset clears the post and preregistration status, restores Show All, and restores the site's default date range without changing the site.

Understand the grid

Visible columns are site-defined and can include schedule, admit and depart dates and posts, carrier, tractor, trailer, BOL, destination, licenses, driver, notes, yard label, arrival/departure status, and custom summary fields. Arrival and departure values may be combined in one column and identified with (A) and (D).

Use the column selector to tailor the view and Grid Export after applying the intended filters.

If a record is missing, clear the text search, choose Show All, clear the preregistration status and post filter, broaden the dates, and refresh.
