Access Events¶
The Access Events page combines physical access-control, license-plate recognition, visitor, logistics, and related access activity into one read-only timeline. Use it to follow activity across a site without switching between each source module.
Understand the event timeline¶
The page initially shows the selected site's last 30 days, with the newest event first. The leading icon identifies the event family:
- key — physical access control;
- car — LPR;
- person — visitors;
- truck — logistics;
- information — another or unclassified event.
Each row can show the date and time, access source, summary, post, reader, camera, AllBox, creator, and an LPR plate image. Fields that do not apply to the event remain blank. Dates are displayed in the event site's time zone.
The Summary is a user-facing description of the event. Created By can be blank for activity produced automatically by an integrated system.
Use the column selector at the right side of the header to show or hide available columns. The visible location-specific columns adapt to the modules configured for the selected site.
Narrow the timeline¶
Use the date range, event-family selector, and access-source selector on the main filter line. Open the additional filters to choose a site, post, controller, reader, camera, or AllBox.
See Sources and filters for the difference between an event family and an access source, plus the dependencies between controller and reader filters.
Refresh, monitor, and export¶
Select Refresh for a one-time update or enable Auto refresh (10s) to reload the grid and insights every ten seconds. Select Export after applying the required scope.
For live monitoring, insight behavior, and LPR images, see Live monitoring and insights.
Note
Access Events is a consolidated activity view. It does not acknowledge alarms, edit the underlying record, grant access, or reverse an access decision.
