Logistics Management

The Logistics Management page tracks scheduled and unscheduled drivers, tractors, trailers, cargo, inspections, admission, and departure. What you can see and do depends on your role and the logistics settings for the selected site and working post.

Start with the site and working post

Select the site whose records you need. Operational users must also have a working post before admitting or departing a record. Use the post-change action to select it; TEKControl may prompt you automatically when the page opens.

The post controls which operational features are available, including departure processing, driver-license scanning, pass printing, signatures, watchlist checks, revenue, and inspection tabs. The post filter in the additional-filter panel only limits the grid; it does not change your working post.

Find logistics records

Choose a search field, enter a value, and press Enter or select Refresh. Depending on site configuration, searches can include driver name or license, tractor or trailer number, carrier, seal, destination, company, insurance, credential, cargo, pass number, PO number, vehicle licenses, yard label, confirmation number, and configured custom fields.

Use the date selector and additional filters to limit records by site, post, preregistration type, or preregistration status. See Find and filter logistics records.

Work with a record

Double-click a row or choose Edit from its three-dot menu. Other available row actions can include:

  • Admit or Depart;
  • Remote System Audit Trail;
  • View Images;
  • History;
  • Detail to open a PDF report;
  • Delete for authorized administrators.

Other page actions

Depending on configuration and permission, the page can also provide registered Drivers, Remote Access, Scan Pass, evacuation actions, grid export, and Add New. On smaller screens, some options appear under the three-dot overflow menu.

Warning

Remote Access, Admit, Depart, and evacuation notifications can have immediate operational effects. Confirm the site, working post, record, and intended action before proceeding.
