Add or edit a package

Select Add New from Package management to record a delivery, or open an existing record to update it.

Record a delivery

1. Confirm the correct post.
2. Enter a useful Description.
3. Enter Delivered By and, when known, the delivery company.
4. Confirm the delivery date and time.
5. Choose the package type and required status.
6. Select the host or recipient.
7. Enter or scan the barcode identification when used by your site.
8. Add any operational notes.
9. Select Save.

Description, Delivered By, delivery date, and Status are required. Site-specific package types and statuses may vary.

Select the correct recipient

Choose the host associated with the package. Select Contact Information after choosing a host when you need to verify the resident's available contact details.

When a new package is saved, TEKControl can notify the selected host according to the site's package-notification templates and the host's email or SMS preferences.

Mark a package picked up

Open the package, select Picked Up, enter the pickup date and time, and record who collected it. Select Save.

A pickup date is required whenever Picked Up is selected. If a previously captured host signature exists, it appears in the package record for reference.

Warning

Confirm the recipient and package before marking it picked up. The change becomes part of the package audit history.
