Review watchlist entry details¶
Choose View Entry from a Watchlist row to open the complete record. Other portal workflows may open the same dialog when they detect one or more possible watchlist matches.
Review the available evidence¶
The dialog groups information into:
- Profile - first name, last name, date of birth, and person or vehicle type;
- Identifiers - driver's-license number, aliases, vehicle license number, and trailer number;
- Description - the reason, context, and operator notes entered for the record;
- Image - the stored photo or a placeholder when no image is available.
Missing values display as Not provided. Do not rely on a single similar name, image, or vehicle identifier. Compare every available field with the person, credential, or vehicle being processed.
You can also choose View Image directly from the row menu when an image is stored. That action enlarges the image without replacing the need to review the written details.
Review multiple matches¶
When a workflow finds more than one possible match, use the previous and next arrows. The counter shows Match n of total. Review every match before deciding how to proceed.
Understand Allow and Deny¶
Opening View Entry from the Watchlist page is read-only and does not show decision buttons. When an access workflow presents a live match, the dialog can include Allow and Do Not Allow:
- Allow records that access was permitted after review;
- Do Not Allow records that access was denied after review.
The decision closes the match dialog and becomes part of the entry's flag history. It does not change or remove the watchlist record itself.
Warning
Confirm the decision required by local policy before selecting Allow or Do Not Allow. If identity is uncertain, use the organization's escalation process rather than guessing from incomplete data.
