Complete driver pre-registration

Use the driver pre-registration link sent by your site or carrier contact. The link opens a public TEKControl form for the correct site and carrier; you do not need to sign in to the portal.

Warning

Treat the link as private. It can contain access to an existing driver registration and its documents. Do not post it publicly or forward it to an unintended recipient.

Before you start

Have the following ready:

• the driver's full name;
• the driver's address;
• the driver's-license number;
• at least one supporting document requested by the site; and
• any optional phone, email, date-of-birth, or license-expiration details the site expects.

Open the link in a current browser with a stable internet connection. A phone can be used, but a computer may be easier when several documents are required.

Enter driver details

Complete Driver Name, Driver's License Number, and Driver Address. These three fields are required. Enter the optional phone number, email address, date of birth, and license expiration when available or requested by the site.

If the link was created for an existing driver, TEKControl can prefill the saved details and list previously supplied documents. Review everything before submitting because saving updates that driver record.

Add supporting documents

In Documents, drag files onto the upload area or choose Select Files. The form accepts up to 25 application, image, or text files. Use normal filenames with an extension, such as .pdf, .jpg, or .docx.

Wait for the upload-success message and confirm the filename appears in the list. Select Remove to exclude a file. For a saved document, removal takes effect when the form is successfully saved; select Undo Remove if you change your mind before then.

At least one document must remain active. A file marked for removal does not satisfy that requirement.

Note

A newly selected file is staged in the current browser page until you save. Reloading or closing the page before submission can discard that staged upload.

Read and accept the disclaimer

Read the site disclaimer shown below the document section. Select the agreement checkbox only after you understand it. The checkbox is required even if the site's customized disclaimer text is brief or absent.

Submit the registration

Select Save once the information, documents, and agreement are complete. Correct every item shown in the validation message, then submit again.

When TEKControl shows Driver registration submitted for approval, the form has been saved with a submitted status. Submission is not approval and does not by itself authorize entry. Follow the site or carrier's instructions and wait for any configured approval communication.

Keep the original link until the process is complete. If the site asks for corrections, the same link may reopen the saved driver details and documents.

Protect driver information

Driver registrations can include license, address, contact, date-of-birth, and document data. Use a trusted device, close the page when finished, and do not save or forward files outside the approved business process.
