Associated revenue transactions

Choose Associated Transactions from a revenue row when the action appears. The action is available only when the selected parent has one or more child revenue records.

The dialog title includes the parent transaction's description. Its read-only grid shows each associated transaction's:

  • site;
  • description;
  • transaction date in that transaction site's time zone;
  • amount;
  • revenue type;
  • source module;
  • creator.

Associated transactions can provide the component or downstream records behind a parent entry. They remain separate financial records and may belong to different sites or source modules.

Use the relationship to reconcile the parent and its components, but do not assume that the parent amount must equal a simple total without first confirming the business workflow that created the records.

The associated-transactions dialog does not edit, pay, refund, or export child records. Close it and open the appropriate site and date scope in Revenue Management when you need to work with an individual transaction.

Tip

Compare site, module, date, type, and creator—not only description and amount—when tracing a transaction relationship.
