Sign in to TEKControl¶
Open the portal address supplied by your organization. Site-specific branding can appear on the login page, so confirm that you are using the expected TEKControl address before entering credentials.
Sign in with a TEKControl account¶
Enter your username and password, then select Sign in or press Enter. Your username may be an email address, but use the exact username created by your administrator or during registration.
After authentication, TEKControl opens the dashboard appropriate for your role, such as the resident portal, field-technician area, or staff portal. Available pages depend on your assigned roles, sites, modules, and permissions.
Respond to a required password change¶
TEKControl can require a new password when:
- this is the account's first login;
- the current password has expired; or
- the current password no longer meets the site's complexity policy.
Follow the requirements in the Change Password dialog. Access does not continue until the new password is accepted. See Change or update your password.
Use the links below the form¶
- Select Forgot Password to request a recovery email for a local TEKControl account.
- Select Have a registration code when a host or resident invitation requires account creation.
For host registration, see Register your host account. For account recovery, see Reset your password.
Single sign-on accounts¶
If your organization supplied a single sign-on link, begin with that link and use the organization's identity-provider credentials. The local TEKControl password-reset process may not apply to an SSO-managed account.
Do not switch between an SSO link and the local login page unless your administrator confirms that both methods are enabled for your account.
Protect the session¶
Use a trusted device and confirm the portal address before signing in. Do not share passwords, reset links, or invite links. Sign out when using a shared workstation and avoid allowing the browser to save credentials on a public device.
See Sign-in troubleshooting for incorrect credentials, temporary attempt limits, location restrictions, inactive sites, or missing portal access.
