Site administration

General Administration is a site-scoped workspace. It combines the site browser, a selected-site summary, quick actions, and settings cards for the modules and roles available to you.

Select the working site

  1. Choose the client scope when that selector is available.
  2. Use Filter sites to search by site name, client, address, city, state, or ZIP code.
  3. Choose Active, Inactive, or All.
  4. Select the site in the list and confirm the summary at the top of the workspace.

The site browser includes inactive sites so administrators can review their configuration. The default view is Active. Your list is limited by role and assignment: platform administrators can see all clients and sites, client-wide roles see assigned clients, and other administrators see assigned sites.

Warning

The selected site scopes almost every settings card and quick action. Reconfirm the site before changing modules, integrations, notification content, users, posts, or hardware.

Use the selected-site summary

Depending on your permissions, the summary can provide direct actions for Edit Site, Site Map, Posts, Hosts, Properties, Vendors, Access Credentials, Audit History, and Manage Contacts. These are shortcuts into the same site-scoped administration tools shown in the settings cards.

Use Search settings to filter the settings cards by title and content. Cards are grouped into Foundation, People, Operations, Security, and Content & Comms. A card can be absent because your role does not permit it, the selected site is required, or the corresponding module is not enabled.

Create or edit a site

Platform administrators can select New Site after choosing a client. Site administrators can open Edit Site for an existing site.

The Deactivate Site button in the editor currently displays “Not implemented Yet!” and does not deactivate the site. Do not use it as evidence that a site was disabled.
