Client accounts and contacts¶
Client Accounts¶
Client accounts are optional subdivisions that sites can reference.
- Choose an existing account or Add New Account.
- Enter the required account name.
- Optionally enter contact name, phone, and email.
- Select Save Account Settings.
Account changes save immediately and independently from Save Client.
The current account form does not render its account-number field. If an account number must be added or corrected, use the approved support or data-maintenance process rather than placing it in the account name.
Selecting an existing account exposes Delete Account. The current implementation deletes immediately without a confirmation dialog. Before using it, find all sites and processes that reference the account, move or clear those references, and retain the account details for recovery.
Client Contacts¶
Client contacts represent named people for customer, billing, or support purposes.
Required fields are first name, last name, title, department, and office phone. Contact type defaults to Customer; email and secondary phone are optional. Only one Billing contact is allowed per client.
Choose an existing contact or Add New Contact, complete the fields, and select Save Client Contact. Contact changes save independently from the main client record and are audit logged.
Deleting an existing client contact requires confirmation and is audit logged. Verify that the contact is no longer required for billing, support, escalation, or account communication before confirming.
Note
Client contacts are different from site contacts and branch contacts. Update the record at the scope where the person actually serves.
