AllBox communications

Use Communications for calling accounts, call-center routing, and up to three concierge destinations. Obtain production values from the telephony, Remote Guard, or support-service owner instead of guessing them.

Calling

Twilio phone caller ID identifies the outbound caller and, when entered, must use E.164 format: a +, country code, and 8 to 15 total digits, such as +15551234567.

The optional Domain, Username, and Password configure the ABTO SIP account used by the device. The password is displayed in a normal text field in this administration screen, so avoid screen sharing or screenshots that expose it. Restrict access to authorized administrators and use the approved secret-rotation process.

The editor does not test SIP registration or Twilio ownership. Save, refresh the device, and place a controlled test call.

Call center

Enable the call-center action and configure its menu label and order. Connection values include:

  • host or IP and port;
  • call-center ID and phone number;
  • answer timeout in seconds;
  • ringtone filename;
  • optional image and video overlay URLs shown when a call is answered.

The answer timeout must be numeric when provided. The host, port, IDs, phone number, filenames, and URLs are not connectivity-validated by this form.

Behavior options control local hangup, opening the gate after a timeout, device-initiated remote calls, showing call center in other views, and call-center wizard views.

Danger

Open Gate on Timeout can connect a failed or unanswered communication path to physical access behavior. Enable it only with written site approval and test the exact timeout and gate target under supervision.

Concierge and support

Configure the primary concierge and up to two additional concierge options. Each can have an enabled state, public label, phone number or extension, RG roll timeout, and menu order. The primary concierge can also appear in other device views.

Timeouts must be numeric when provided. Phone and extension values are otherwise not format-validated. Avoid duplicate labels and menu orders so users can distinguish the destinations.

Concierge and call-center staffed hours are configured under Availability. Enabling a menu option without a usable destination and schedule can leave users with a call action that cannot complete.

Before saving

  1. Verify every number, extension, host, port, account, and caller ID with the service owner.
  2. Review whether gate-on-timeout or other-views behavior is authorized.
  3. Confirm public labels make sense to an arriving visitor or driver.
  4. Save and perform test calls for normal, unanswered, timeout, hangup, and after-hours conditions.
