AllBox administration

AllBox administration manages the configuration records used by AllBox devices, lobby kiosks, and TEKControl Desktop endpoints. These records connect a deployed device to its site and post, define its public menu and workflows, and optionally associate a camera, access-control reader, communications services, and the Virtual Agent.

Open General Administration, select a site, and select AllBox Settings. This action requires Global Client Admin-level authority or higher.

Warning

AllBox settings can change a live, public-facing device and can authorize access-control actions. Confirm the site, post, device identifier, camera, and reader before making changes.

Find a device

Use Site to show one site or All AllBox Sites. The available site list is limited by your client scope and normally includes sites using Visitors or Logistics. When only one usable site is available, the selector is locked to that scope.

The search box matches Name and Device Id. Use the filter panel for:

  • enabled menu options;
  • device modes, including AllBox, Lobby Kiosk, TEKControl Desktop, 2N, and DoorKing;
  • Visitor or Logistics site modules;
  • Visitor-enabled or Logistics-enabled post flags;
  • configured or unconfigured SIP, startup web, camera, and reader settings;
  • call routing by IP/port, phone number, both, or neither.

Selections within one multi-select filter are alternatives; different filter categories are combined. Select Apply after changing advanced filters, or Reset to clear them. Search updates the grid as you type.

Read the inventory

The grid shows the post, configuration name, device identifier, online status, last-seen time, camera, and reader. Sort a column to change the order. Online Status and Last Seen Online come from the latest available health target; an unregistered or unmatched device can have no health value.

Use the row actions to:

  • Edit the full configuration;
  • Add/Edit Welcome Image for the device's welcome screen;
  • open Change History for audited configuration changes;
  • open Health Details when a matching health target exists.

Double-clicking a row also opens it for editing. Use Refresh after a change or when verifying new health data.

Add a device configuration

  1. Select one specific site. Add New is unavailable in the all-sites view.
  2. Select Add New.
  3. Complete the required name and select a real post.
  4. Configure only the modes, actions, integrations, and hardware relationships used by that device.
  5. Select Save, then refresh the inventory and test the deployed endpoint.

Continue with Device overview and identity, then review each tab that applies to the deployment.

Field technicians working with controller hardware, reader commands, and device health should also see the Field Technician Console.
